Felaris Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Felaris Global LLC (“Felaris,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information in accordance with relevant data protection laws. These practices apply when you visit felarisglobal.com, utilize our online assessment tools, or otherwise engage with us. The policy specifically covers the Felaris Global website and the self-assessment tools we host, including the AI Readiness Scorecard and the Felaris assessment suite.

We handle your personal information responsibly, in compliance with applicable data protection regulations, including the Data Protection Act, 2011 of Trinidad and Tobago and relevant privacy laws in the United States. By using our website, you agree to the privacy practices outlined in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

Information you give us: When you fill out a contact or inquiry form, respond to our LinkedIn advertisements through a LinkedIn Lead Gen Form, email us, or request a consultation, we collect the details you provide, including your name, work email address, company or organization name, job title, organization size, and the content of your message.

Information from our assessment tools: Our self-assessment tools, including the AI Readiness Scorecard, are designed to run directly in your web browser. Your answers are processed on your device to generate your result. We do not receive your answers unless you intentionally choose to send them to us, such as by using an email-my-results option or contacting us regarding them.

Information collected automatically: When you visit our website, we and our service providers may automatically collect technical information including your device type, browser, approximate location, IP address, pages viewed, and the dates and times of access. This is done through cookies and similar technologies, as explained in Section 4.

Information from third parties: If you engage with our advertising on LinkedIn, LinkedIn may share the personal information you provide through its forms with us, in accordance with its privacy practices and your settings.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information to respond to your inquiries and provide the information or services you request; to enhance our assessment tools and website; to communicate with you regarding our services when requested or permitted; to fulfill our consulting engagements and meet our contractual commitments; to analyze how our website is used for improvement; and to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, including those related to data protection.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website employs cookies and similar technologies. Strictly necessary cookies enable the site to function correctly. Analytics cookies assist us in understanding how visitors use the site for further improvement. Advertising technologies, when activated, help us measure and enhance our advertising and may permit partners, such as LinkedIn, to show you relevant content.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings and, where offered, via our cookie notice. Blocking certain cookies may impact how the website operates. We utilize Google Analytics for standard website traffic analysis.

5. Legal Bases for Processing

When data protection law necessitates a legal basis to process your personal information, we rely on one or more of the following: your consent, our legitimate interest in operating, promoting, and improving our business without overriding your rights, the performance of a contract with you, and compliance with a legal obligation. If we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

6. How We Share Your Information

We share personal information only as necessary to operate our business and serve your needs. This includes sharing it with trusted service providers who process information on our behalf, such as our customer relationship management platform, email and productivity provider, website host, and the host of our assessment tools. We also may share it with our professional advisors where required, and with LinkedIn regarding advertising engagement. Furthermore, we share it as mandated by law, regulation, or legal processes, or to safeguard our rights and those of others.

We require our service providers to adhere to robust data protection standards and to use personal information solely for the specific purposes we outline.

7. International Transfers

Felaris Global LLC operates from the United States while serving clients in the Caribbean and around the globe. Your personal information may be stored and processed in the United States and in other jurisdictions where we or our service providers are active. When information is transferred internationally, we take necessary steps to ensure its protection aligns with this policy and applicable data protection laws.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes defined in this policy, which includes fulfilling our contractual, legal, accounting, and reporting obligations. Once the information is no longer necessary, we delete it or render it anonymous.

9. How We Protect Your Information

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards aimed at protecting personal information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. These measures adhere to our internal Information Security Policy. While we strive for security, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure; therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your location and applicable data protection law, you may have rights regarding your personal information. These rights may include accessing the information we hold about you, requesting corrections or deletions, objecting to or restricting certain processing, and withdrawing any consent you have given.

If you are in Trinidad and Tobago, your rights are governed by the Data Protection Act, 2011, and you can contact the Office of the Information Commissioner for assistance. If you reside in certain U.S. states with applicable privacy rights, such as California, you may have additional rights to know what personal information we hold and to request its deletion, subject to legal boundaries.

To exercise any of these rights, please reach out to us using the contact details in Section 14. We will respond in compliance with applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

11. Children’s Privacy

Our website and services aim at a business and professional audience and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us, and we will take appropriate actions to remove it.

12. Third-Party Links and Services

Our website and tools may contain links to third-party sites and services, including LinkedIn and the platforms hosting our assessment tools. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy practices before providing them with any personal information.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. When we do, we will revise the effective date indicated in the document control table above and, where suitable, provide additional notification. We recommend reviewing this policy periodically.
